This board is designed to control up to 16 LED signal outputs, supporting both common anode and common cathode configurations with integrated current limitation. It offers an ideal solution for managing 2-, 3-, or 4-aspect signal lights in your model railway layout. Communication with the central controller is handled via I²C serial interface, enhanced by an integrated I²C extender that ensures stable and reliable transmission even over long distances – more than 20 meters – with no signal loss. The board features 8 removable screw-terminal connectors, allowing clean, intuitive, and fast signal wiring. Its modular design makes installation and maintenance straightforward. Moreover, the I²C interface supports daisy-chaining of multiple boards, enabling scalable expansion to control a large number of signals efficiently.
